What is that song about? I listened to like three notes and wanted to slit my wrists so I turned it off.

The song’s really about suicide? I wasn’t joking. I skipped right to the middle of the song somewhere because I wanted to see if I knew it, and I really couldn’t take more than 3 seconds. It was a part where the harmonica kicked in and I could instantly tell they were death notes. Freaky.

You know artists, all emotional and dramatic. Neil felt that way in 1978, released the song in 1980. There’s pages of lore.
