Wow, these guys saved you! Everyone needs to go give these guys a watch on Youtube. Well… I should say “they need you to.” I don’t know if everyone here really needs to…
I do have a soft spot for some of the lyrics in the song because I was a Nintendo girl until the Sega CD came out. My friend had a genesis and we’d play it at her house, but I wanted to be the coolest and she liked Sega, so I begged for a Genesis with a Sega CD… and I got it. I don’t think I ever got any games other than dumb Sewer Shark, and Sonic 3d which was very cool. Oh! And Ecco the Dolphin. That might have been my favorite.
That was my last console as a kit until I was an adult and played Punch Out on a Wii. Now, Punch Out for the Wii is a game worth buying a whole console just for!
I was a Punch Out kid. That was totally my game. I never played it on Wii, though! That would have been amazing!! I did play other boxing games on Wii (I never had the Wii console myself) but never Punch Out
We had the version of Punch Out without Mike Tyson, though.
…You know… they should make a new, updated version of the game where you still face Mike Tyson, but he’s…not as hard to beat anymore…
Punch Out was my JAM. I had the original NES version with Mike Tyson in it. I remember going to see the Minibosses open for Eagles of Death Metal. The venue was oversold, as all the Minibosses fans left after their set, and all the EoDM fans didn’t show up until the same time. Two groups of people passing each other, thinking the other group was missing out.
