This movie is the greatest British film of all time. Alan Price is used as a kind of ‘Greek chorus’ throughout the film. He almost steals the show from Malcolm McDowell (from A Clockwork Orange), almost. Malcolm McDowell is my 2nd favorite actor after Crispin Glover.
