I went through a period where I’d listen to nothing but 60s freakbeat when I was in my 20s. Nothing else sounded as raw. I thought I had heard most of the stuff off of “Rubble” and “Chocolate Soup” but I don’t recall listening to a lot of this stuff before. (Nuggets 2 too) There are some tracks in this video that I hadn’t heard before. I’ve watched this before and find new stuff each time I watch it. They don’t mention John’s Children in this video. They were my favorite out of a lot of those groups. I have never had the body type to look good in straight legged white pants like they wore, and I’m a messy eater, so white straight legs are out. John’s Children always wore it better.
